Dear support, I want the chart TQQQ, but trade NQH4.CME is the quote symbol. I'm testing it out in sim and when I put in an order on the DOM I get a price entry of 0.51 on NQ. I've attached my trading log to this ticket. Is it possible to chart TQQQ while using NQ as the quote symbol? |

You will need to set the Tick Size for the chart to .25 . Do this through Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol.

If I change the tick size to .25 for TQQQ it becomes compressed, is there another way to do this just for the quote symbol?

No there is not. We do not recommend doing what you are doing by using these two symbols in the same chart.

When I try to enter a limit order for a bid without compressing the ticks, it rejects the order and says the price is bad. 2024-03-04 13:13:08.452 | Rithmic Direct - DTC (Order reject). What you are stating makes sense. Orders for NQ have to be in .25 price increments. Therefore, if you have not changed the tick size for the chart, then the price could be anywhere and will be rejected.

Those rejections come from Rithmic. Not Sierra Chart.
