Question on re-downloading Data

Activated now. By the way, to save you guys unnecessary downloads from me, can you quickly answer if I have to re-download all data every time we roll over? I only want back-adjusted data but whenever there's a rollover the chart isn't correct anymore (at least on IQFeed), so all data had to be re-downloaded. Unless there's a better way to adjust the charts for rollover (without re-downloading 10 years of tick data every time), please let me know. |

We are not really understanding the issue here. You should not have any reason to re-download data unless you have a particular problem. But it should not occur every time you roll over. What exactly is happening when you roll over?

Nevermind. Just used to IQfeed's way of doing it where I had to re-download all their data every time there was a rollover. For future reference/readers reading this post Changing to a New Futures Contract Month: Changing to a New Futures Contract Month Seems like the chart --> perform rollover does it automatically without you having to re-download years of tick data. If there is a problem, reload and re-calculate usually fixes it. If not, follow the steps in the link below.
