They simply should update automatically, there is nothing you need to do.

Exactly what study are you using and what is the bar period of the chart?

Volume Value Area Lines.
Volume weighted Average Price is also on chart
Chart is a 1.25 range chart of ESZ23.
Thanks
Will not keep up in real time, have to press F6 and then Enter to catch up.

Please change the following in your Volume Value Area Lines Inputs:
- Ticks per Volume Bar: 1
- Automatically Correct Invalid Time Period Type/Length: Yes

The Ticks per Volume Bar is the one we are really concerned about, as 0 should not be an available option.

The problem is that you are using a Range Bar for your Bar Period. The Volume Value Area Lines does not work with this kind of bar period. From the documentation for this study:
The timeframe of the chart bars must be evenly divisible into the time period specified by the Time Period Type and the Time Period Length Inputs. You cannot use Number of Trades, Volume, Range, Reversal, Renko, Delta Volume, Price Change, Point and Figure Bars with the Volume Value Area Lines study. The result will not be accurate and can be inconsistent.

Is this going to be corrected or do I have to switch to IRT?

This will not be changed. In order to get correct Value Area lines, you need to use a Time based chart. You can then overlay the Value Area Lines to the Range Bar chart. Refer to the following:

Your Session Times happen to be set in just such a way that it is hitting an edge case in the calculation when it is trying to determine whether the Evening Session starts in the previous day or not.

If you can, change the start of the Day Session to "00:00:02" and the end of the Evening Session to "00:00:01". This will solve the problem.
