Hello,

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but when it increases, the asset is volatile (can be either direction) and when it retraces, volatility is decreasing and the asset is going to the mean (0.00).

Also what does it mean when the SD goes flat at a value for example 1.00?

thanks

when price is on or hovering near the MA shouldn't the SD be at or closer to a value of 0? since the SD input is the MA?

Also, why is the value of the SD different in both instances that price is near or at the MA (mean), shouldn't the value be the same?
