Hi,
it seems that my connexion to SC is not as stable as it used to be. On numerous occasions I notice some micro freeze in the streaming of data, to the point that the software stops and "downloads" and updates chart with downloaded data.

It happened today at arround 8:41:05 and 8:45 eastern time, and lasted for about 1 minute until it downloaded data.
Could this be related to my timeout problem on updating the software this weekend: Can't update SC because of a timeout issue ?

Could this be due to the new daneli ISP?
Also I notice the support board loads more slowly than usual, but this may be unrelated.

I'm in France, Paris. Is there a way to tracert or ping some IP to verify how route goes?

Now that market is open, it seems to be completely saturated, like updating data every 2 seconds.
CPU is near 0 usage, as data arrives very slowly and there is little to process in between.

Based upon everything you describe, this is an Internet connectivity issue on your side.

The website does not use the same ISP as market data.

You can run a tracert from the operating system command line to DS28.SierraCharts.com

Yes, not a cpu usage definitely as even closing all chartbook and opening single chart with no indicator is affected.

Here is the tracert:

Trace complete.

I ran several of these and 7. systematically times out with some systematic loss on 12. also.
I guess there is nothing you can do, or maybe you have an alternate way to connect?

159 ms is high.

From Germany we have round trip ping time of 113 to ds28 in CH1.

Try using ping and give us the time.

Also give us your public IP. And we send this to Cogent since they are handling the packets from Paris all the way to the DC.

The situation has improved today.
Much faster ping (under 100ms) and no loss on the tracert, except, just as yesterday, for the 7 th step.
Please find attached a file with the required information.
