Hey guys,

I have an issue (or at least I think it's an issue) with the coloring of the Numbers Bars Calculated Values (I will call it footprint). Yesterday when the RTH session for ES opened, I was looking at the footprint and saw that none of the values are getting colored. If you check the screenshots, all of the values were with a black background when I was following it live. I have the "Determine Max/Min Values for Background" set to All Data. First I though that is due to low volume for the day and everything is fine. Later during the day I opened the charts again and saw that the footprint in the opening bars (let's say the first 20 bars after the open of RTH) is now colored, same bars that before were with black background.

I just updated Sierra Chart to the lates version and I use wine to run it. I also get the live data from Denali Exchange data feed.
My bar period type is Volume per bar and my bar period value is 10k.

I'm I doing something wrong or there's an issue?

Thanks!

We are quite certain there is not a problem with the study and would require very in depth analysis to analyze what is going on in your particular scenario. This is not something we would do.

Also, NBCV is not a footprint. Footprints are generated by the Numbers Bars study itself, not either of the Calculated Values studies.

The way you have your coloring set implies that if the previous bars were black, then those values were less than 20% of the highest value for the time period you are viewing.
