Chart replay more fluid than live feed

Hi,
When watching the (standard) chart replay, I initially thought the speed setting was above x1. However, I soon realized this wasn't the case.
The impression that the replay is faster is due to its "fluidity"... it's smoother than viewing in a live environment. For instance, on a 500-tick chart where I display the bar tick countdown, comparing a video from a live sequence with the actual chart replay of the same sequence, the succession of numbers in the replay is smoother, showing more intermediate numbers, especially as it counts down quickly around active market open at 9:30.
The chart from replay and the video of same sequence are remarkably synchronized (kudos to Sierra Chart for this), but it appears the replay has more "frames".

Could this be due to an inherent slowness in reading and receiving data from the internet in a live environment compared to reading them from a local flash drive? Are there ways to make live data reception faster and smoother?

My internet connection is a robust fiber with 2.5 Gbps in and 0.8 Gbps out.

I don't know that this is related, but if you have Skip Empty Periods enabled on the replay, I believe SC will skip all the small time intervals where in live markets, SC would be waiting for data. If I'm right about that, then perhaps that explains the perception of it being "smoother". I could be totally wrong though.

Thank you for your suggestion, but that checkbox was never checked.

For faster updates during real-time updating of a chart, reduce the Chart Update Interval:
Chart Settings: Chart Update Interval in Milliseconds (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Display >> Chart Update Interval menu)

The update interval is already 25ms.
It's not about the real time updating being slow.... but it being noticeably slower than when replaying a chart.

My question is to know if this is inherent to when data is being received from internet (live) or being replaying (flash storage) and if there is anything to do to speed up things when receiving live data.
