SierraChartFileDownloader not working.

Hi, I am new to Sierra Charts and somewhat new to PCs...I downloaded the SierraChartFileDownloader from the SC website, and am trying to launch that file to begin the installation process. When I do that, there is a brief window that pops up, but nothing other than the windows logo populates in that window, for just a second, then the logo disappears and so does the window...nothing seems to happen after that. I am using a brand-new HP laptop, with 16 GB RAM, solid state drive, and an updated OS...not sure what is causing this issue. I will say that I suspect it may have something to do with my computer's anti-virus software, but I do not see any alert messages popping up. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |

Yes this is definitely due to antivirus/security software on your system. You will need to resolve that issue.
