Hello,

This month I'm not able to connect to the IB Feed to keep my CME at the reduced rate. Are you aware of any issues you are getting from other customers?

Nothing has changed only end but it just doesn't want to connect and I have followed the instructions and monthly I was able to connect with no issues.

Thanks

A.

No, definitely no other user would be reporting this. That does not make sense in the way that the connection to Interactive Brokers works, since it is just a local connection on your computer.

Follow the instructions here to resolve this:

I am running IB TWS Version 10.25.1k and Sierra Chart Version 2562. Make sure you have the latest IB TWS API and SC Versions. I get my real-time data in SC from IB. No major issues with getting real-time data from IB anytime this year (US Futures Value Bundle Plus, Nasdaq TotalView, Eurex, etc). Only issue lately is IB TWS freezing for 10 or 15 seconds without pulling quotes.

While in IB TWS, go to the menu. Under Account >> Management >> Market Data Subscription Manager, check the Subscriptions you are signed up to receive. Click the Gear icon in the Subscriptions rectangle to add additional market data subscriptions.

@ User584084 Thank you but I'm subscribed to all Data via SC just connected to IB to get the reduced rate CME. However just this month SC has an issue connecting to IB to get the feed authorization for the reduced rate. I guess the problem is on my end it cannot connect to local computer. Will review.

On the there hand, when you are using IB feed, do you have to use any special instructions for searching symbols?

IB Futures in SC have the following format: ES-202312-CME, YM-202312-CBOT, CL-202401-NYMEX, GC-202312-COMEX. Micros have the following format: MES-202312-CME-USD. IB Stocks in SC have the following format: QQQ-STK-SMART-USD.In IB TWS, just type ES, MES, etc then Enter, then select Futures and then the contract.

Check the Available Symbols in the SC Settings Window.

Resolved.. I had to use 192.168.xx.xxx as my local IP instead of the suggested host IP 127.x.x.x
