The Zig Zag and the Zig Zag Cumulative Volume 'forgets' its parameter. I have set the parameter 'Input Data for High' to 'Last' And the 'Input Data for Low' to 'Last' and it works OK for some minutes but then the function starts using the High/Low value as you can see in the picture below. I believe this is wrong. I hope Sierra can fix so I dont have to reset the chart over and over again. I', using version 1157. |

We are not completely understanding this. Are you saying the Input Data for High/Low settings are changing? Also, it is not stable to use Last for these settings when the Zig Zag is based on the main price graph . You will have problems with this. The result will be unstable. The input is not changing, but the behavior is as if the parameter has been changed. It is as you write, the result is unstable when I have the Zig Zag in the main price graph. To have Zig Zag in the main price graph is important though. You have the same problem with the Zig Zag Cumulative Volume function. Even if I have this in a sub chart region it looks like it has the same problem as the Zig Zag function.

What we meant to say is the following: Zig Zag is based on the main price graph. You cannot use the Last with the Zig Zag study when it is based on the main price graph. Therefore, do not use the Last. Use the default settings of High and Low. It simply will not work properly and is unsupported. I have used both studies successfully, using the "Last". Try setting the input "Calculate New Values on Bar Close" to Yes.
