Hi, I am using the trade copier in sierra chart for 2 apex accounts
problem I am having is the "order allocation setting is not saving" when enabled so I think I am trading 2 accounts and i'm not,
I have turned off the global trade setting for " disable order allocation on chartbook opening" NO
Many thanks C.

Keep in mind the "Order Allocation for Trade Accounts" needs to be setup per chart. So if you have it set for one chart, then that setup only applies to that chart.

Also, if you change the Trade Account that you are using for that chart, then the original account will not be copied in any trades. For example, if you have "Account1" active and add "Account2" to the Order Allocation to Trade Accounts, then change the active account for that chart to "Account2", then orders will not be copied to "Account1" as it is not setup for this.

Hopefully one of the above explains what you are seeing.

HI JOHN thanks for the reply,

I have set up the trade order box on each of the 4 markets I trade to allow allocation yesterday and saved all the charts etc. today I came to trade today and all the enable order allocation boxes were unchecked" so my executions were only on 1 account,
I can't figure out why its not saving the selection, I am not changing between account, 1 main account & 1 copy account

Thanks Chris

Please double check the setting for "Trade >> General Trade Settings >> Disable Order Allocation to Trade Accounts On Chartbook Opening" and make sure this is set to "No". It needs to be "No" in order to not disable the option when you open a chartbook.

No, there is nothing else you are missing. You should have the order allocation enabled when you start up Sierra Chart.

Are you ever toggling it on/off during a session? The only other thing we can think is that maybe you have it off when you save the chartbook.

Another thing to do is to ensure you are on the most recent release. Please update by following these instructions:

Otherwise, we can not think of any reason you would be having this issue.

HI John,

Its really weird, I saved everything last night, closed sierra chart, and opened it back up to check if everything saved & it did, perfect, thought I wasted your time. opened sierra chart this morning 12 hours later & it wasn't saved.

I had to add the second account to all the charts again.
I really don't know why it would do that. could it have something to do with time?
I have the latest update

Thanks Chris

This might have something to do with Trade Window linking:
