This problem was said to have been solved (see this thread Sound Alerts All Repeat 3 times but set to 1) But I am still having the issue. As you requested in the thread, I will go over the exact issue. The issue is... if I place an order with a Stop and a take profit. When I cancel this order. The sound will play the cancel sound for all the bracket orders. It would be nice, if you can treat bracket orders attached to an order, as one sound. So that when I cancel this order, it just plays the cancel sound once, instead of 3 times. Sometimes I have 3 or 4 orders open, with brackets. And when I "Cancel All", its like twelve to 20 repeated sounds. This issue also affects placing an order of more than 1 contract. If I have 5 contracts, and a place an order. With brackets, it plays over 20 sounds. It would be nice if we can treat batches of orders as one sound. But if thats too hard, another easy way to implemenet would be to only play the cancel sound once, if the user presses "Flatten/Cancel all". (thus just bypassing the sounds for all orders in that situation). That would solve the problem pretty quickly/efficiently. Or maybe just play sounds synchronously? So they all fire at once, instead of in a queue that seems to have a delay between each sound. (if possible?). Date Time Of Last Edit: 2023-11-19 21:26:03

We do not know when we could manage this better as it is not a very easy to do. But we will have a quick look again to see if there is anything we can easily do. For now disable the alert for order cancellations. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
