Switching order qty and then back loses original target quantities

I normally open a trade with multiple contracts, let's say three. Once I am in, I may look to increase or reduce my size, so I switch to one contract with the scale-in and scale-out options on using a quick key setting for the initial quantity to one. Once the trade is complete, I use a quick key to reset the qty to 3. My issue is the original target quantities reset to undesirable amounts. Let's say target one is set to take 2 contracts off leaving a runner (or target 2) of one contract. After switching the qty from 3 to 1 and then back to 3, the targets change to one contract at target 1 and 2 contracts for the runner (or target 2) Is there any way around this issue that doesn't involve opening the trade window and manually resetting the target quantities? Hopefully this is clear, will refrain from screenshots unless it is not. Thank you for any suggestions you may have. |

Use the Trade Configurations to change your setup instead of just changing the quantities. This should give you the setup you want with the quantities you want. Refer to the following: Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Using and Changing Between Different Trade Window and Attached Orders Configurations For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

OK, that's awesome. I find I only need to assign loading the original configuration to a control bar button. Since knocking the qty down while in an active trade, all works fine, I can use my current keyboard shortcut to change that and then use my new keyboard shortcut to reload the original settings. I don't even have to have the control bar visible |
