Hello, is there any reliable way to truly lock trading for the remainder of the day once a daily loss limit is reached? It doesn't do much good if all you have to do is go in and uncheck everything and it allows you to get right back to trading. Traders depend on this capability as a safety net and it's a little unsettling knowing that this safety net doesn't really exist when you are in the heat of the moment and prone to bad decision-making. Thank you.

You can do this through your broker if you are using the Teton Order Routing service. Otherwise, we do not have a solution. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

I trade thru Apex trader funding so I don’t have the ability to do it on the broker side. But I believe I have Teton. Are you able to confirm this? And if so, instruct me how I would set it up? Thank you.

If you are trading with Apex, then you are not using the Teton Order Routing Service. APEX uses Rithmic for their order routing. If you have another trading account that is setup with Teton, then you need to ask your Broker to set this up for you. Why can't this functionality can't be built into the local Global Profit/Loss Management? This is of critical importance to many traders. Why have the feature if it does not work as expected to?

This is also a feature I'd love to see. Is it possible to lock trading for the day just in the application and not be able to unlock trading until a specified time in the next session?
