I started a Topstep combine and am trying to connect it to Sierra charts. I already pay for lvl 2 data through sierra so I followed the instructions to download a second installment to run Topstep through. I got everything set up and my dom on the second installment is showing lvl 2 data. I’m confused why it’s showing lvl 2 if I’m not paying for lvl 2 through Topstep? Is this normal because I signed in to the second one using my same Sierra chart login? Thanks in advance!

Yes this is normal. You are paying for market depth data to Sierra Chart with the Denali Data Feed.

Just to follow up, I don't need to buy level 2 data with Topstep if i'm already paying for it through Sierra Charts? And after reading this, do i not need to download a second installment of Sierra Charts to see level 2 data? Just a little confused, thanks. |

Of course there is no need the subcribe to Topstep Level2 data if you already get it from Denali and if you don't use other accounts (like a Teton connection) there is no need to open a second instance. You just have to create your Topstep-connection thru Rithmic Direct (just fill out username/password)
