I've been using this software for a while now on Simulation Mode and am hoping to start using a live account. Before I do this though, I was just curious to know: The amount of users SC has How often are there software updates? What would happen if the software was to crash? Thanks |

I'm not a member of the Sierra Chart team, but I can answer these questions: 1. Probably tens of thousands of users. I doubt you'll get a clearer answer than this. Sierra Chart is a company that doesn't even need to communicate to find customers, because the customers themselves take care of it ;) 2. As far as I can see, there is at least 1 update per week to fix bugs and implement minor additions. There's one major update every month or so. It's a very well-maintained software! 3. Crashes are rare. In any case, if you have a trade in progress, the consequences will be different if you use TETON or the others ( CQG, Rithmic, etc... ). If you use TETON, the child orders ( Bracket Orders ) are on the server side, so your Stop Loss will be executed anyway. If you don't have one, Sierra offers a web interface for taking or closing orders in an emergency! Date Time Of Last Edit: 2023-11-09 20:29:59
