On the screenshot I'm showing the 69 that's grey. The diagonal comparison is 181x250 which according to my understanding should paint green. I've tried all the options that say "diagonal' and none seem to match with the text for column 2.

I just want to show a range of colors for the diagonal difference that makes darker colors for higher differences and lighter for colors for lower differences comparing the diagonal bid/asks.

I hope it makes sense.

There are too many possibilities for us to be able to know from the image alone. Please get us that chart using the following instructions and we will take a look and let you know:

The chart you sent us does not have the same setup as the original image you sent - in particular, there is no second column displayed with the Delta.

Can you please get us the chart exactly as you had it setup for the image you sent where you had the grey backgrounds?

The reason why you are getting that grey coloring is because you are using a Background Coloring Method for Column 2 of "Based on Diagonal Dominant AskVol BidVol - Actual". For this background coloring, if neither the Bid or Ask is diagonally dominant, then the "Default Background Color" is used. Refer to the information at the following link:
Numbers Bars: Background Coloring Based on Diagonal Dominant AskVol BidVol Difference - Actual

You need to look through the other options to see which one will give you what you really want, as it does not sound like this particular background coloring is what you want.

So how do I get the coloring to match the text? The text is set to Ask Vol Bid Vol Diff Diagonal 1 Side, But there's no option for the coloring with that setting...

I want the column 2 positive numbers to have green background and the negative numbers red background both with a darker gradient for the extremes.

There is not an option for this at this time. It is something we would have to add. We have set this as a Feature Request.
