Hey there, I have tried running the settings from the attached video, which work well in the past. Now my charts are unable to move freely with hand tool? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PvUv6t86gNc&t=619s |

To clarify the issue, I could move my chart around freely up, down left right, now the hand tool cant do so? Is this a bug with new version? I deleted the old version and just opened this one, was I meant to keep both? I am running Sierra chart application from my virtual windows desktop/ which is also my mac desktop with parallells. Thank you. |

Thats correct, I used the video I added in the first message to set up my preferences a few weeks ago and it has been working perfectly. Now I cant freely move the chart around with the hand tool? I can move the chart from the bottom areas and side area, but not freely ON the chart, have enabled some 'lock' chart setting? |

Hey there, So I have loaded an old chart and it has the same settings under Global/tools/ and it works fine? But any new chart wont allow it? Doe that help? |

Hey there, update. I worked it out. I had to manually selct the hand tool in the sub menu to over ride the default pointer preset. This is so insane how long this took, is there going to be an update to sierra to make it more intuitive, considering how expensive it is? Is there a plan to modernise it at some stage? Its great in some ways and a nightmare in others. K |

Well if the Hand tool was not selected that is the problem. We trusted that you did have that selected. You can add Control Bar buttons for the hand tool and other tools to visually see what is selected: Control Bar There is nothing to modernize. We are not going to butcher Sierra Chart, like so many others do with there software, and make it woke, nonsensical and insane. That will never happen. Sierra Chart is quality software.
