How can I create a ratio chart with Gold, GCZ3, and the ES, symbol ESZ3? For example, where GC is the numerator and ES is the denominator. Then, SC charts plots that ratio on the selected range size, ie 20 range, using Candlestick bars.

There is a video somewhere about how to create a ratio chart in Sierra Charts?

That link you posted above has way too much data for me to understand it. :/

The Ratio (Bar) study should work for what you want. Give it a try and see if it does what you need.

From How to Create High Accuracy Spread or Ratio Charts ......

Normally when using the Difference - Bar or Ratio - Bar studies to create a spread or ratio chart, the High and the Low for a bar may not always be very accurate because it is based upon the highs and lows between the chart bars themselves in the two charts that the study references, rather than the difference or ratio between the last trade prices, as the chart bars are forming in real time.

Those highs and lows may not always have occurred at the same time. There is a way to create an accurate Spread or Ratio chart by using Custom Calculated Symbols feature. Using the Custom Calculated Symbols feature is the new method to create high accuracy spread or ratio charts.

So based upon the above it seems we are back to the Custom Calculated Symbols data?
