Hello, So I've searched (I think) all settings in "tool settings" and I still cannot figure it out where this reading is coming from and what does it represent. I've defaulted to "Hand" after tool use, or reset with right click, and every time I click on the chart, the below number pops up in the right upper corner. Sometimes it's a different number. It doesn't seem to be related to the position of the mouse. On other chart where I use the news study, it's even more annoying, since its position is on the upper left corner. What that is and more importantly, how do I get rid of it? My OCD is killing me :) Thanks https://www.sierrachart.com/Download.php?Folder=SupportBoard&download=89799 |

That is not something that is from us (i.e. it is not a core Sierra Chart item). This would have to be coming from a custom study. Start by removing the custom studies from your chart one-by-one until you find the one that is producing that display, then check with the creator of that study to find out what that number is for and how to get rid of it. Hey John, thanks for your reply. I've loaded a clean chart, 0 studies. The offender is still present. Different numbers on all charts. See below. |

Please find below the attached chart. Thanks LE: Update: While playing with the options in tools again, what I realized, after switching to "zoom in" tool and selecting an area, then returning to "hand" the issue is no longer present. LE2: Actually, "Cancel Zoom in" brings back the issue. I need to do this in all charts, however unfortunately, it does not persist after save and restart. I need to repeat the process for each chart again. Issue is present in all charts across all chartbooks. Thanks. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2023-10-28 07:25:12

I found where it's coming from, but I don't know how to remove it. It appears when I select "Scale Range Constant Range", and it fluctuates the number if I play with the scale (pointer on the scale - right screen edge and move up or down). Number dissapears if I select any other option except Constant Range. Hope this narrows it down for a solution. I entered scale settings but there's nothing unusual there. Unticked/ticked options, no difference. |

Ok, figured it out completely what it is. It is the reading shown in "Scale Settings>Constant Range>Range (the number there). I've always used constant range, is there an option to hide it? Thanks. |

Please see the below settings to understand better my setup which triggers this. I also tried to make the reading's background black to make it invisible, but it seems it's under Chart Text (colors and widths), which also affects the Chart header color. Any other solution would be great. (disabling it altogether would be ideal). |

That value only will show up, when you left click in the price scale on the right side of the chart and change the Scale Range. Otherwise it will not appear. We have never known there to be a problem with this ever. It has never been reported before to our knowledge. We want you to close the Chartbook and reopen it. Hmmm... I've tried your suggestion without success. I recorded a small video with obs. Please see my chartbooks, everywhere the same behaviour. With or without studies. Closed and reopened. That number is present with every click on the chart, no only on the scale area. |

We know why this happens now. It has to do with the option for supporting vertical scaling with the Hand tool. We will work on a solution. Thank you for addressing this issue so fast. Indeed, it has been fixed as of v.2562 BTW, is there a way to enable some sort of notification when a new version is available? I was running on 2550 for a long time I think, without knowing a new version was launched. Thanks. |
