Hello, i'm comparing Bookmap to Sierra Chart for trading FDAX and i recogniced that Bookmap has a real Tick datafeed and extrem fast ticks/candles. It seems that Sierra Chart and also TradingView are only receiving data / updating candles from EUREX when a trade is done. So i'm missing the fast tickchart from Bookmap in Sierra Chart. Is there anything i can setup or change to see the ticks as fast as in Bookmap? SierraChart is really the only platform where i can see the full orderbook of FDAX and i really love the whole platform. But as the data is "lagging" and only gets updated with a trade and not per tick, it is not my preffered tool for scalping. You see a movement in Bookmap prior to a candle change in SC... Thanks! |

Set the chart update interval to a lower value. Chart Settings: Chart Update Interval in Milliseconds (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Display >> Chart Update Interval menu) |

First, Sierra Chart offers the EUREX EOBI data feed which is the full tick by tick data feed. There is no one else who offers this. So what you say is opposite of actual fact. The perceived problem might be related to the Chart Update Interval: Chart Settings: Chart Update Interval in Milliseconds (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Display >> Chart Update Interval menu) There is also no difference between a trade and a tick.
