Issues live trading off my Sierra Chart....nothing happens when I try and post a trade

Hello, I'm trying to trade off my sierra chart....I'm with Interactive Broker. I'm connected to interactive broker and my data etc is working fine. My sim trading on Seirra charts works fine....but when I switch to my IB account on Sierra charts and try to place a trade nothing happens....I've went through the tutorials for connecting IB to Sierra charts and everything seems to be done correctly and working fine but trading is not working. I checked the logs and when I go to place a trade no error is appearing in the logs.....not sure if I'm just missing a simple setting that activates real trading on the charts? I've got "Trade simulation mode" on....do I need to turn that off in order to trade real money? The "Trade locked" setting is off. Thanks, Aaron Simon |

Never mind figured it out....just had to turn simulation mode off

LOL.... I have also done this too many times until I discovered a setting to change background color of trade ticket window unique to Sim and Live. Go to Graphic Settings - Global... scroll down to Chart Trade Window Background Mode for live and sim mode. you are welcome :-) |
