Are the following operations do the same thing? Operation 1: Delete and download data (from menu) Operation 2: Manually deleting .scid files from the data folder |

Not exactly the same, but the end result should be the same. When you select "Delete and Download Data" from the menu, it is clearing out the data from the file, but it does not actually remove the file itself. Deleting the file removes everything. We have seen a few times, where a file has a problem, and needs to be deleted from the Operating System to fix the issue that "Delete and Download" would not resolve. Thank you. After deleting the .scid files, and files in the MarketDepthData folder, I have solved flickering screen during booting and related frozen screen issues. Note: I have changed the title of the discussion to the problem instead of the solution. |
