Hi, I switched order routing from CQG to Teton; while with CQG I used to trade only in sim mode so I never had to pay a commission. Now in real mode with Teton my broker (AMP) details commissions as: "Exchange + NFA + Commission + CLEARING TETON".
As far as I remember Teton should not charge anything, but maybe I am confusing "Order routing" with "Clearing"... Please tell me if it is OK or if I am paying for something I should not.

You are paying what you are supposed to be paying. AMP uses the term "Clearing (Teton)" for their own internal purposes. It is NOT a charge from us. It is a normal "Clearing" charge that they do, and they use the term "Teton" in the name for their own internal purposes.

Again, this is not a charge from us - it is strictly an AMP internal mechanism. We have asked them to change it, but they have not.
