Good evening support, My question entails, a unique issue that I did not find any previous thread for. 1) I have noticed that When setting Dom update intervals (0ms-20ms) (My settings are set at 5ms) I would notice disparity / lag type tick up / tick down (very minor / very well within reason), on the dom, I always assumed it was because of the rapid movement and multiple bid x ask moving at high pace. 2) Co-incidentally, yesterday I lacked space on my monitor that Holds the Dom chart, and I moved the Dom to my centre monitor which is 1hz/165hz gaming monitor. I could with just moving the Dom to separate monitor noticed a difference that was so huge, I could read every tick up/down and even the market order matching was readable instead of just going up and down with just a buffer in between, but it looked like it was smooth between going and letting me read the transacted value that I never could before. 3) My other monitor was cheaper 20ms respond time with 75hz refresh. I wanted to confirm this observation with support, that was I actually noticing my orders being updated to their actual value of 5ms for the first time and previously due to my monitor bottlenecking my software at 20ms, I was restricted on that. If you can recreate and confirm this, I would like to know if the monitor specs affect how my number Bars / dom charts update. Ps. Thank you for providing such great service and by far the best charting platform, and the most efficient software I have used. |

We definitely cannot help you with this. We do not know what the problem/issue/behavior is with your computer hardware. We have no idea at all. However, we have heard of the past that when a Sierra Chart window is spanning more than one monitor each with a different GPU, that this can affect performance when using OpenGL.
