I backtested an ACSIL trading system multiple times in a row, clearing the trade simulation orders and data between each backtest, and got different results. Interestingly, there were a couple of times wherein I got the same result, though not consecutively. This made me think that was indeed the correct result. This was all using the "AutoTrade System Replay backtest" on Sierra Chart 2552. Having never experienced this before, I ran the same backtest multiple times in a row, but this time on Sierra Chart 2551, and I got the expected consistent results. |

I retested under version 2554 and it's working just fine.

We are quite sure there is not an issue with 2552. And nothing changed related to this, in 2554. And it really is impossible for us to answer these kinds of questions. You should be able to determine the problem from your side because you have created the automated trading system. If you analyze in detail what it is doing, you can see some difference on the Sierra Chart side and you should be able to isolate that. We would never know what the problem is. It is impossible for us to know. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Try to keep your questions brief and to the point.
