Hi SC, When viewing Heiken-Ashi charts for the same time frame, for the same instrument on other trading platforms (e.g. Tradovate, NT, TV, etc.) the HA candles appear to be the same. When I view the same time frame and the same instrument in Sierra Chart, the HA candles are different in a few ways: 1 - The candle shape or colors are different in SC when compared to other platforms. 2 - How the current candle is formed is different in SC. As it's being formed, it's a different shape/color, and then as soon as the candle closes, the shape/color changes. This is different behavior compared to other trading platforms where the current candle 'looks' like an HA candle before it's closed, where as on SC it doesn't necessarily look like an HA candle before closing...hopefully this explanation makes sense. Are there settings for this study in SC that could address the above points that I am overlooking? Thank you! |
