SC update blanked out J cell formulas

Just updated SC to build 2549. I had a spreadsheet for trading running. The update deleted formulas I had in cells J22 to J29. Also in other J cells, like J71 to J74. It also blanked out I and J cells at the bottom down to I124/J124. It also eliminated formatting I had in various J cells. I don't remember that happening before, but maybe I just got lucky and avoided it before by doing the update without a spreadsheet up and running when I started the update.

Go to the spreadsheet study settings and set 'Use Column I and J Values Version 2' to No.
(It is third from the bottom in the list.)

This is a new 'feature' that reorganizes the studies' output cells.

But I suspect this 'upgrade' will cause way more confusion than it was intended to eliminate.

Yours in not the first post about this.

IMO, this is an unnecessary 'feature' that will only cause problems and a higher support load.
It doesn't matter that columns I and J have become disorganized because we know where each item is, which is all we need to know.

By default that input is set to No. Updating Sierra Chart should not cause any problems with Spreadsheets.

The issue must be with this input:

Clear Unused Column I Names. We will make sure this is set to No.

We are putting out a new release now where this input is set to No. It should have been No.

Well, I just checked, and both those settings were No. So, hopefully later updates won't mess with columns I and J. We'll see. And yes, I went to the backup folder and opened an older spreadsheet and restored the values, before I made the above post. I also frequently archive TSV files so I can get the formulas if need be, but backup spreadsheets work the best.
