Hello everyone, I'm new to Sierra Chart and learning the ropes through paper trading. Must say that I'm amazed by the flexibilty of this platform. The learning curve is more a cliff than a curve, but now that I have a basic understanding of the program (especially the legacy GUI), I don't think I can go back to my current broker's platform. The freedom Sierra's platform offers is intoxicating and well worth the time learning how to use it. Anyhow, I was wondering if it is possible to automate position sizing for trading. When I trade I always select a position size that roughly equals one percent of my account balance. Is it possible in Sierra to automate this repetitive task? +1... position sizing based on account balance would be a huge addition especially via simple alert auto trading. Currently, there is no way via simple alert trading system formula (that I know of) to access and/or manipulate order qty manually set in the attached trade ticket.
