Hi, I'm new to SC and trying to figure out how to activate or enable a strategy (which works fine on backtest) developed under "spreadsheet system for trading"? The only way I found so far is to use, in addition to the spreadsheet, 4 seperate "Trading System based on Alert Condition" for Buy Entry, Sell Entry, Buy Exit and Sell Exit. Is this the most optimal approach? or can I do it directly in the spreadsheet itself? I don't seem to find "Enable" in the spreadsheet parameters as in the "Trading System based on Alert Condition" parameters. |

The "Spreadsheet System for Trading" has columns K, L, M, and N set to be "Buy Entry" (K), "Buy Exit" (L), "Sell Entry" (M), and "Sell Exit" (N). These are stated at the top of those columns. Therefore, you just setup your strategy using those columns. Any non-zero value in one of those cells will create the particular item you want. We are not sure what you are looking for in terms of "Enable", but refer to the following options for how to halt trading from an automated system: Enabling and Disabling Automated Trading: Disabling Automated Trading and Halting Order Entry For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
