Continuous Contract Chart and Drawings

I have been trading S&P futures for more than 10 years using Sierra. I recently changed to the Continues Contract option So todays Sierra wiped out ALL of my drawings!!! WHY??? How about an option to RETAIN ALL DRAWINGS!!! Thanks |

The drawings are there, they are just not displaying because you rolled over to a new contract. There are a few ways to deal with this. The easiest option is to select "Chart >> Update Chart Drawings to Current Symbol". Refer to the following: Chart Menu: Update Chart Drawings to Current Symbol (Chart menu) If, for some reason, you want to keep the drawings associated with the previous symbol, but you want to see them on the current one, then set "Chart >> Chart Settings >> Chart Drawings >> Show Chart Drawings for Different Symbols" to "Yes". Refer to the following: Chart Settings: Show Chart Drawings For Different Symbols (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Chart Drawings menu) In general, when you rollover a futures contract manually, you are given a page that asks which symbol to rollover to, and on that page is an option for "Also Rollover Chart Drawings". You want to make sure this is enabled when you do the rollover so the drawings come along.
