Good morning Sierra Chart Support team, I need your help. I would like to see directly this several significant time periods and each of them forms its own significant volume level:

Current day.
Previous day.
Current week.
Previous week.
Current month.
Previous month.
Contract.

I think this seven levels, could be a supplement in any trading system. Or it is possible to build a self-reliant trading approach on the basis of these levels. 🤝

We are not exactly sure of what you are wanting.

In order to get a chart for these periods, you need to set the "Historical Chart Bar Period Type" to what you want (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Bar Period).

Then to get a previous period in a chart, you need to set the "Data Limiting" to use the "Date Range" and set the dates as you want/need.
Chart Settings: Load Data Limiting Method: Date Range >> Date Range From / To (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Data Limiting >> Load Data Limiting Method: Date Range menu)

We can not go through an article and figure out what they are trying to tell you to do. If you need help getting something done, then you need to ask us a specific question of how to do something. We can not do the work for you.

Good morning Sierra Chart Support team,

that's not the point.

What study is needed to implement that?

- Volume by Price study
- Volume point of control

Thank you!

It depends on what you need.

If you just want the volume from that time, then do as we stated in Post #2 and use the "Cumulative Sum of Study" and set it to accumulate for the "Main Price Graph" and the "Volume" subgraph. Then the most recent bar will give you the full volume for the time period.

If you need something else, then we would need to know what it is.
