Spreadsheet Systems, Alerts and Automated Trading: Position Quantity [J5 or J8] says Cells J5 and J8 contain the Quantity of the current Trade Position for the chart symbol. However my spreadsheet has the following in J5, see attached. Has something changed? It seems what was in J5 is now in the J31 area. |

Go to the spreadsheet study settings and set 'Use Column I and J Values Version 2' to No. (It is third from the bottom in the list.) This is a new 'feature' that reorganizes the studies' output cells. But I suspect this 'upgrade' will cause way more confusion than it was intended to eliminate. Hello, In the update 2568, I think, this option was by default changed from 'Use Column I and J Values Version 2' = No to = Yes. So when I updated to latest my spreadsheet changed without any heads up. This caused me a lot of pain with my automated/algo trading setup this morning. Luckily the loss was contained to ~$2k, but it could've been much bigger. Can you please pass this feedback on to the engineering team? Thank you, Nisarg Date Time Of Last Edit: 2023-12-05 16:15:19

I just updated to 2568, and 'Use Column I and J Values Version 2' still defaults to No for me, thankfully. IMO, this should never default to Yes. |

Hi Sawtooth, Discussed this here: Latest update flipped spreadsheet's 'Use Column I and J Values Version 2' = No to = Yes :( Repro is when you update from version 2528 -> 2567/8. |
