[User Discussion] - Why does my Sept E-Mini Chart show such a different High to every other data source

Hi,

The reported High for the Sept E-Mini on 6th September in regular trading hours at every source I've checked is 4503.75. My Sierra chart is showing the High at 4494.25.

Why is there such a discrepancy, or any discrepancy at all for that matter.

I thought futures data only had 'one source of truth' and could be relied upon to be the same everywhere.

This cost me being filled on a Short at 4499!

Any help understanding this would be appreciated.

You are looking at the difference in Daily Historical data versus Intraday data. Refer to the following:
