Help needed with number bars alert please.

Hi, I would like to have some kind of visual alert on the chart when a number bar closes with an 'Ask vol Bid vol difference percent' higher than 20% or lower than -20%. I asked this question a while back and was told i would need to use 'Volume at price threshold alert V2', i have looked at this and i just can't seem to work out how to make this work. I thought it would be quite easy to do using 'color bar based on alert condition' and use 'number bars calculated values' and 'Ask vol Bid vol difference percent' as the study subgraph reference, which in my case is ID1.SG11 and using an alert formula such as =ID1.SG11>20 or <-20, but this doesn't seem to work either, i have also tried doing it as a decimal instead of percentage but still no luck there. Please could you tell me if/how this would be possible and maybe give me an example of the kind of alert formula i would need to use. Thank you! |
