when trying to connect to rithmic data and keep getting windows error code 10061. i've turned off all my firewalls and tried with still no success as well as turned the ports on sierra chart on and off but still nothing is working? Please see photo attached of my message log when trying to connect thanks |

In general, refer to the following regarding that error: Data/Trading Service Connection and Symbol Issues: 1.2. Network Communication or Server Problem The one thing we would suggest trying is to connect to a different server and see if that works. If you're trying to use Rithmic for your market data, save yourself a world of pain and frustration and stop now. Get the Denali data feed from Sierra Chart. Rithmic data is horribly unstable, and they also impose data caps on how much data you're allowed to download before they cut you off for the month. You will be much happier with Denali, Rithmic market data is a recipe for losing money (and time, and hair...) |
