Currently, in order to get tick compression for the bars on the Numbers Bars study you need to adjust the Tick Size setting in Chart > Chart Settings > Symbol. While this does work, there are a couple of unfortunate consequences. 1. The tick compression also impacts the tick size for Target and Stop orders in the Trade Window. This creates confusion and inconsistencies in Targets and Limits between the chart using tick compression and charts that are not. 2. Adjusting the Tick Size setting in Chart Settings impacts all the studies in the chart, not just the Numbers Bars study. If possible, I would suggest having a "Tick Size" setting inside the Numbers Bar Study, would be a great to isolate the compression within the Numbers Bar study itself. I believe this would address the 2 issues I listed above, since the tick size for the whole chart would not need to be changed. At the very least, I think there should be a way to have the Tick Size in Chart settings not impact the Targets and Stops in the Trade Window. Hopefully this was constructive feedback, thank you. |

Instead of changing tick size, try Volume at Price Multiplier. Chart Settings: Volume at Price Multiplier for Historical/Intraday Chart (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Chart Data >> Volume at Price menu) |

Thank you for pointing this out. Using the Volume at Price Multiplier does appear to address the first issue regarding the orders in the Trade Window, I did not know about this setting.
