Hello,
Is it possible to use values like ADR or ATR in another study, like an input for a moving average or something?
Thanks

Absolutely. Refer to the following:

Hmm, I don't think you can do one of the things I was trying to do. One thing I wanted to try was to take the ADR value, multiply it by 2 and use if in the volume by price study to draw my peaks and valley's. Do you know if this is possible?

The Volume by Price study only works on the actual volume and can not have another input. It is one of the few that falls into this category, along with TPO and Numbers Bars.

But we are wondering if you were really wanting to create a Volume profile from the ADR information. If you give us some additional information we may be able to point you to a solution for what you are really wanting to do.

Hi John,
Basically I was trying to setup "dynamic" peaks and valleys on the volume profile study. The idea was to as the ADR or volatility in the market went up or down it would adjust the peaks and valleys sensitivity giving you clues to hold onto a trade or close a trade.
Thanks

You would have to create a custom study to do this, as you can adjust the Input settings for another study from your study. Refer to the following:
sc.SetChartStudyInputInt()
