I need to set the intraday data storage time unit to one tick to maintain the accuracy of the number bars. I have multiple charts all with data limited to 7 days, so they are all relatively quick when changing time frames, takes a second or so. However, it is unusable for the longer time frame chart. I have a single chart window that goes back 360 days, and switching between 1H to 2H timeframe for example takes excessively long time. It becomes almost instant if I change the intraday storage unit to 5 seconds but this messes up the number bars. This is inline with everything mentioned in your documentation. How can I have a separate scid file for that longer time frame chart? I can use another Sierra instance for this specific chart but then I cannot sync the drawings between this chart and the other charts? Any better workaround?? It is very handy to have drawings copied to all charts simultaneously. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2023-08-17 15:01:39

The only solution is what you have already done - having a new instance. There is not a solution that will allow you to copy drawings between instances.
