Hi, I have 5 DOMs in a main instance of sierra and 4 other DOMS and all my other charts in another instance. The DOMs have a update interval of 25 and the other charts are slower updates. If I put them all in one instance, will there be any changes to DOM performance? I have a Ryzen 5 5600 CPU. I would like to be able to have my horizontal line drawings be copied over automatically to DOM, but they are in the other chartbook. |

In order to take advantage of multiple cores, and to ensure the best trading performance, we do recommend using separate instances. Refer to the following: Overview of Trading: Sierra Chart Configuration for Most Low Response Time Trading But, this does not mean that it is not possible to get good performance from a single instance. There are too many variables for us to be able to tell you what will or will not work. You simply need to try it out and see if it works for you.
