Hi, The markets are dynamic so I want to have numbers bars coloring based on when the bid/ask size is significant. I setup a 100 bar MA of volume and using 25% and 50% to color Numbers Bars Footprint. Rather than go in and adjust the values every 5-10 mins would like it DYNAMIC based on a variable such as ID3.SG1 So for actual values instead of 100,200,300 it would be ID3.SG1, ID4.SG1, ID5.SG1 Is this possible and if not can you add this very needed functionality for numbers bars actual values? In the meantime IF I create 5 numbers bars and hide 4 of them and then as volume changes hide one I was using and unhide other one for appropriate volume DO THE HIDDEN numbers bars take up any CPU %? This is a temp workaround but if they all use 100% of CPU regardless of hidden or not probably won't work. |

There is not a built-in functionality to adjust the inputs for a study. But this can be done by creating a custom study. Refer to the following: sc.SetChartStudyInputString() If the Numbers Bars studies are hidden, then they will use very little CPU. Try it and see how it works for you. You have us curious as to why not use a Percentage value for the coloring, this way you do get a dynamic display based on the particular percentage choice.
