Good morning / Good afternoon,

I want to create a bar number chart for different markets, ZN, ZB, UB, FGBL, GC, ES, and CL, where (In:16) is Bid Vol x Ask Vol, (In: 17) Full Background, (In: 18) Based on Ask Vol Bid Vol Difference - Acutual, and (In: 18) equal. To be correct the information shown, depending on the market, Column 1 Actual Volume Compare Thresholds (In: 112) affects it, because the default values of 100, 200, 300, are not the same in the markets mentioned before, since the average maximum delta, of the cash session, is different for each market. The question is, how to calculate the maximum average delta of the cash session, of the ZN, ZB, UB, FGBL, GC, ES, and CL, so that the bar charts look like the attached image, and the information on the chart is correct. Can it be that this data of the (In: 112) is calculated automatically? Thank you.

Since you are using the "Actual" values, you would need to determine the values for each symbol yourself. Keep in mind that you can add a column that displays the difference so you can see what that value is at each price level and bar to better determine what your threshold values should be.

But, we really recommend using a Percentage option so you can just set a percentage and it will be based on the range of the data. For the difference, you would want to use the "Background Coloring Based on AskVol BidVol Difference Percentage of Max Dominant Side". Refer to the following:

Thank you very much for your response.

Is there any way to find the maximum average delta of the cash session? Can it be automatically included in the comparison thresholds in the numbers bars study?

I want to create bar charts for the ZN, ZB, UB, FGBL, ES, CL, and GC, just like the Market Delta platform, in the Bid x Ask configuration, that the method of painting the cell background is based on the delta value of the cell; if we use the Based on AskVol BidVol Difference Percentage of Max Dominant Side form, it does not color it the same as the MD platform (see image 1), since with this configuration, values with low delta are painted dark, and in the images MDFootprint1, 2, and 3, it is observed that if the delta is low, it is painted in light color, if it is medium, it is painted in medium color, and if it is high, it is painted in dark color, based on the defined range of colors, but it is necessary to adjust as well as possible the comparison thresholds of the (In: 112), and use the Based on Ask Vol Bid Vol Difference - Actual setting. Is it possible to update the study, so that the (In: 112,113, and 114), are manual, or automatic? Another way would be to use the spreadsheet, to calculate the maximum average delta, and set an alarm, to make the comparison threshold setting manually, if it cannot be done automatically. Thank you.

The Numbers Bars study divides up the coloring in 4 sections as follows:
- 0 to Threshold 1
- Threshold 1 to Threshold 2
- Threshold 2 to Threshold 3
- Threshold 3 to Max

You would need to adjust your numbers and the colors to get what you want.

If you only want 3 levels, then you would need to make 2 of the entered values the same, such as the following:
- Threshold 1: 33
- Threshold 2: 33
- Threshold 3: 66

You would also need to adjust the colors for Threshold 1 and 2 to be the same.
