Help with shared custom study files

Hi Sierra Team, I was reading documentation that it is possible to configure custom studies and associated files to be automatically downloaded to the Sierra Chart installation of those users who are authorized to use the custom studies. My question is: How to do that configuration? I appreciate your fast response |

Hi John, thanks for the reply. I was just referring to this documentation, where it says that the files will be downloaded automatically. However this has not happened. I've been enrolling my users in the user list, but it doesn't happen that my DLL gets downloaded to their Data folder when they download Sierra Chart. Likewise they have also not received any updates when I replace the DLL at https://www.sierrachart.com/Attach.php?Form=214964&To=FileGroups. Just today I had to hand them out one by one a new DLL because they didn't have the latest update. Can you give me more guidance on this? |

You have uploaded some files, but you have not linked to any of your studies. 1. Go to the Custom Studies Access Control Panel: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ManageCustomStudiesDLLUsers 2. Under "Files", go to "File Upload Page". 3. Link the DLL file to the file group that is associated with the study. Sierra Chart Support |
