Hi, I am a very new Sierra Chart user and have a demo. I am trying to setup the Number Bars (otherwise called Foot Print). When you first input it, it shows the bars but they are very cluttered. The Youtube video I am watching shows that you adjust the tick size to correct this. But when I do that the information disappears entirely from the screen. Sometimes it slowly reappears but it is only showing maybe one candle. It's like it's shifting it off the screen but I don't know how to fix this. It also reverts instantly back to the tick size of 0.1 in Chart Settings I am trying to change it to 10. I've tried going into Edit Global System Settings and changing it there, then hitting Apply Global System Settings which it will do. But then all the candles disappear but it doesn't actually save the new setting and reverts back to 0.1 at which point I exit the program without saving anything and reopen it again. Thanks, for any help. I really don't know where to start to try to figure out what is happening. It is Binance Perp Bitcoin if that helps. |

Do not start by adjusting the Tick Size. Refer to the following to start: Numbers Bars: Scaling a Numbers Bars Chart Then, if you are still getting too much data, you can adjust the "Volume at Price Multiplier", which works better than adjusting the Tick Size. Refer to the following: Chart Settings: Volume at Price Multiplier for Historical/Intraday Chart (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Chart Data >> Volume at Price menu) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing Date Time Of Last Edit: 2023-07-31 15:53:02
