A very common use case is to have one chart that is "day only" and another chart which uses day + evening times. We still want to be able to change the symbols on these charts and to have the session times updated. However, we want one chart to only use the day hours and the other to use day and evening. I don't think this is currently possible in SC, because the "Use Evening Session" setting is changed when "Apply intraday session times to intraday chart" setting is enabled. So I have two options, neither of which is desirable: - Enable "Apply intraday session times" which causes both charts in this scenario to be either RTH or ETH, depending on the setting for the symbol - Disable "Apply intraday session times" which makes the resulting session times incorrect on a symbol change A solution would be to have a separate chart setting, "Apply 'Use Evening Session' on Symbol Change" . When this is set to Yes, then the behavior is identical to how it is now. When this is set to No, then when the chart's symbol is changed, the "Use Evening Session" setting is left as it is, regardless of the setting for the Symbol. What do you think? |
