Hello,

I have been using several (upto 15) Sierra Chart processes at the same time. I only use a single DOM per instance, no charts and performance has not been a issue earlier.
Recently experiencing that the performance lags, especially when switching from one DOM to another rapidly.

Memory and CPU utilization on the system are low - it does not exceed even 50%
It seems that the system is using a lot of swap. Not sure why.

Performance get a little better when using 9 processes instead of 15.
Still, can feel the lag to an extent, especially during peak market hours.

Also, does global Settings --> General Settings --> Chart Update Interval
affect DOM performance?

We cannot help with this other than to have you refer to:
Chart Trading and the Chart DOM: Improving Performance Of Chart / Trade DOM

Also, does global Settings --> General Settings --> Chart Update Interval
affect DOM performance?
It depends whether the chart is using its own update interval or the Global Chart Update Interval.

Maybe using OpenGL will help or maybe not using OpenGL will help:
Graphics Settings: Use OpenGL for Chart Graphics (Global Settings >> Graphics Settings >> Other)
