Multiple synced chartbooks

I want to have a chartbook with a few windows for a symbol, and then open exactly the same charbook for another symbol. I think the current way to go right now is to duplicate the chartbook file and create a chartbook group so both are opened together. The problem with this approach is if you change something in one chartbook, let's say the settings of a study, this new config won't be reflected on the other chartbook. The use case here is really simple. I want to keep track of multiple symbols during a session and my set of windows is the same for all of them. Of course I can just switch between symbols using a watchlist but it's quicker to change chartbooks so there is no data loading delay every time you switch between them, which is quite often. I hope it makes sense. So is there a way to open the same chartbook twice, or two synced chartbooks, in a way that a change in one is applied to the other one? At least next time you open them if not right away. |

There is not a way to sync the displays between Chartbooks.

You can use intraday file update list to have the intraday data downloaded for multiple symbols even without charts open, so if you switch, the data loading should be quicker.
