Quick question. Is it possible to purchase Market Depth data for one system, and have another system running strictly only top of book data? Ex: Main PC: used for analysis using market depth data and laptop for execution purposes only running top of book data. Im not currently running either at the moment but planning the switch to Denali/Teton on the upcoming month. I only ask this as I understand in order to have data on two different systems the data must be purchased twice. Thanks in advance. |

The data does have to be purchased twice in order to get it to two different systems. And you can not have different exchanges active for each system (this does not work). The solution for what you want to do is to have the 2 systems setup for the data feed with the Market Depth data for the exchange selection. Then on the system where you do not want the full depth of book, set the option for "Global Settings >> Sierra Chart Server Settings >> General >> Max Depth Levels" to "1". Sierra Chart Server Settings: Max Depth Levels (Global Settings >> Sierra Chart Server Settings >> General >> General) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
