Denali real time data, but I use secondary software to execute through my broker.

Hi, I want to have real-time CME data with Denali on my Sierra chart. I only want to use Sierra chart for charting and to view the market through my charts with real time data. I need the real-time data to be included in my TPO, volume profiles, number bars charts. I am using a secondary trading software ( JIgsaw) to execute my trades. I have my broker (optimus futures) and live data connected trough jigsaw. When I logged in on the Sierra chart software after activating my Denali Real-time data for CME group, I was getting a message that I dont uderstand. PLease help me interpret this message : To continue to recieve real-time CME data through the Denali exchange Data feed when using the lower-priced CME exchange fees which are enabled on your account, it requires that you connect Sierra Chart to your live trading account at least once a month. To avoid monthly requirements and the potential interruption, follow easy solution to CME funded Trading account requirements instructions. I want to know if everthing is looking good in terms of the options I have choosed for using Sierra chart only for charting with Real-time data and not for executing. And also if I actually have this possibility without funding a secondary account? |

In order to qualify for the "Non-Professional" exchange fees for the CME Group, you need to have a live, funded, futures trading account, to which you can connect your Sierra Chart software at least once a month. Refer to the information here: Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Understanding and Accessing Data From the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX Exchanges Are you using CQG or Rithmic for your Optimus Futures account? If so, then you will just need to connect Sierra Chart to that account once a month for about 10 seconds, in order to validate your Non-Professional standing. I am using CQG for my Optimus Futures account. So if I login through sierra on my CQG account once a month to validate my non profesional standing, then the Denali real time data feed will automatically start? Thanks in advance and sorry to bother you with these standard q |

Yes. Just make sure that you are not connected to this account with your other software when you make the connection from Sierra Chart. CQG does not allow for multiple connections.
