Morning, I am setting up my DOM with SC to be like Jigsaws Dom. I have achieved this and now am running the 2 side by side. Yours has your data, and the Jigsaw data I am using from CQG. When in a slower market, the Jigsaw data from CQG always moves before your data on the DOMs. In a fast market the difference is much more noticeable. It is also more noticeable in the Recent Bid and Ask Volume columns because the volume in those columns does not show as many individual trades going through. Meaning your data will show blocks of volume coming through where the other data seems to come through faster and will show each volume traded (including the smaller trade volume) on the column as it happens. The end numbers in the columns end up being the same from both data streams but the Jigsaw CQG gets there faster and it is pretty noticeable in a faster market. I realize data speeds can appear differently in different software. I have tried to reduce the number of lines of data displaying on the SC DOM to see if it would help speed it up, but did not help. Are there any settings in SC that can help with this to increase the response time, data speed or Dom display speed or settings to match the Jigsaw DOM CQG Data/Speed? Thanks for the help, |

The item you want to change is the Chart Update Interval. Refer to the following: Chart Settings: Chart Update Interval in Milliseconds (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Display >> Chart Update Interval menu) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

New issue, I changed the setting to 10, the fastest. Now though in a fast moving market, the SC DOM freezes for a little while till the market slows down. Is their a way to fix this with the faster setting enabled?
